Kick clutter to the curb!
Here are a few tips from David Allen’s book “Getting Things Done.” He writes that we must invest the time to systemize our daily processes. We need to make decisions about the incoming information on the front-end, when the information enters our world in order for us to have a clear thinking on the back-end, when the focus on our work to take action is required. If we say to ourselves that we are too busy to deal with the incoming information and “I’ll deal with it later.” This delayed decision begins the cycle of clutter and chaos in your life!
Allen’s premise is simple: our productivity is directly proportional to our ability to relax. Only when our minds are clear and our thoughts are organized can we achieve effective productivity and unleash our creative potential.
Just remember, that a few minutes up front will dramatically reduce the stress and chaos later!
Happy Organizing! Bridges
