Today they were going to talk about how to pack fragile stemware. It’s important because you don’t want anything broken during the moving process.

Before you get started, you’ll want to make sure you have a nice work surface. Here I have a dining room table covered with a tablecloth. Be sure you have your packing paper and packing tape. The most critical piece to packing fragile stemware is a dish pack; this is a double-walled box to add an extra layer of protection.

To get started, you’re going to take your fragile stemware, and you’re going to lay it down on a piece of packing paper. The first time you roll, you’re going to roll very loose; this is important as you want to create some air bubbles in there. The second time, wrap it a lot tighter.

The last step and most important part of the process is making sure that you put your fragile stemware into the box vertically. That is going to help protect it even if the box were to get dropped. And that is how to pack fragile stemware.
