Figure out four, or at the most, five organizing to-do’s that you choose to be done on a daily basis.  These need to be things that will create a soothing feeling for you.  These can be things like:

1)                Make your bed EVERY day!  This will provide an “aaahhh” when you walk into the room each time during the day.

2)                Process the mail as soon as you get it from the mailbox.

3)                Plan meals the evening before.

4)                Pull everything that you need for the day together by the back door so it is ready to go as you are dashing out the door.

5)                Empty the dishwasher soon after it is finished running and don’t wait until it is time to make dinner.

If you do these things every day they will soon become a habit and will calm some of the chaos and clutter in your life!
